Blue Cloud Softech also hit a 20% upper circuit after saying it is exploring AI-related opportunities with SpaceX International
What’s going on: the company said it has entered into preliminary discussions with SpaceX International to explore potential opportunities in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.
In simple terms, both companies have agreed to exchange information and discuss possible areas of collaboration. However, there is no deal yet.
That's an important distinction because the stock rally was driven largely by the possibility of working with a company linked to Elon Musk.
Not its first AI bet: earlier this year, the company announced the acquisition of US-based Global Impx in a deal valued at around ₹373 crore.
Through that acquisition, Blue Cloud is building capabilities in AI data centres and AI computing infrastructure, including plans for a nearly 197-acre data centre campus in Odisha that could eventually scale to 100 MW capacity.
