Adani Energy Solutions have received an order for the supply of 60 MW of renewable energy to RSWM.
RSWM makes fabrics and yarns for customers in over 70 countries. It operates 12 factories with large-scale spinning, weaving, and knitting facilities.
The deets: under the agreement, RSWM is putting ₹60 crore into a renewable energy deal that will power its factories in Rajasthan with around 31.5 crore units of clean electricity each year.
With this, the contribution of renewable energy in RSWM’s total energy requirement will rise from the current 33% to 70% in the near future.
Why it matters: for Adani Energy, this deal adds another major client to its growing renewable portfolio and strengthens its foothold in the industrial energy supply space.
