Pace Digitek announced that its subsidiary, Lineage Power Private has received a $1.35 million BESS order from Saudi Arabia-based Yaqin Chem.
Lineage Power Private is a Bangalore-based company that builds and manages power systems for telecom towers, data centres, and industrial sites. It provides DC power systems and battery storage solutions to ensure reliable backup and renewable energy support.
What is happening: the order is for four truck-mounted battery systems in 200 kW–1200 kWh and 200 kW–2500 kWh configurations, essentially large mobile power banks on trailers.
Each unit can deliver 200 kW of power, enough to run around 150 to 200 homes at once, and can store electricity for about 6 to 12 hours depending on the size.
In short, these are movable mini power stations built for backup or remote power supply.
For the company: this order adds to a strong run of domestic wins, including a ₹94.35 crore advance purchase order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam for Li-ion battery solutions and a ₹375.7 crore solar EPC contract from Bondada Engineering.
This momentum comes at the right time. India’s battery energy storage market is expected to expand sharply, with BESS installations projected to jump nearly tenfold to around 5 GWh by 2026.
