Sanghvi Movers wins $4.3M Jindal contract

Sanghvi Movers announced that its arm Sanghvi Movers Botswana Proprietary, has been awarded a significant work order worth $4.3 million from Jindal Energy Botswana.

Sanghvi Movers is a crane rental company, providing medium to heavy-duty hydraulic and crawler cranes for large infrastructure, energy (wind, power, oil & gas), and industrial projects.

The deets: under the agreement, Sanghvi Movers will supply cranes along with agreed material and manpower to Jindal Energy Botswana. The contract is for a project with four units of 175 MW each.

Four units of 175 MW can generate enough electricity to power almost the entire country of Botswana, including homes, businesses, and industries, at the same time through the year.

Sanghvi Movers will hold 100% of the share capital in the Botswana entity. Work will start in the last quarter of FY 2025-26 and is expected to be completed by the last quarter of FY 2027-28.

The importance: the order strengthens Sanghvi Movers’ international expansion through its newly set up Africa operations. The company established a subsidiary in Botswana just a week ago.

This multi-year contract also provides revenue visibility and underscores its ability to secure long-term overseas projects in the crane and heavy-lifting business.
