Varroc Engineering has bagged a fresh contract from a leading electric vehicle Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to supply high-voltage electronics for next-gen e-powertrain components.

What’s brewing: under this deal, Varroc will deliver a full suite of high-voltage electronic systems, power electronics units, inverters, onboard chargers, battery management systems (BMS), and DC-DC converters, covering the brain and backbone of an EV’s powertrain.
These components will roll out from Varroc’s Romania facility, ensuring premium quality, global compliance, and seamless delivery timelines.
The delivery window stretches across eight years. Varroc said peak annual production, based on demand forecasts, will touch ₹800 crore.
The why: the company noted that this partnership expands its position in the electric mobility space. It also supercharges Varroc’s presence in the global passenger vehicle electronics market and aligns with its broader strategy to scale its electronics, lighting, and e-powertrain businesses.
