Marksans Pharma has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Germany-based ABCnow GmbH for €892,384 (around ₹81 lakh) in an all-cash deal. The acquisition is expected to be completed by July 31, 2026.

Why does the acquisition matter: the deal gives Marksans its own sales and distribution network in Germany, allowing it to sell products made at its facilities in India, the UK and the US directly in the market. It is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe and build better access to customers across the European Union.
