TCS has partnered with Anthropic to help businesses move beyond AI experiments and start using the technology across their day-to-day operations.
What's going on: under the partnership, TCS will create a dedicated business unit focused entirely on Claude. The goal is to develop AI solutions for industries such as banking, healthcare, telecom, aviation, life sciences, and public services.
The why: TCS believes the next opportunity lies in helping enterprises integrate AI into their everyday workflows. Think customer service, legal reviews, software development, financial analysis, compliance checks, and employee productivity.
To gain hands-on experience, TCS will also roll out Claude to 50,000 employees across functions like engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales.
Zoom out: Infosys recently announced a collaboration with Anthropic to build enterprise AI solutions using Claude. Companies like Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG are also aggressively building AI practices around leading AI models.
India's AI market is expected to cross $17 billion by 2027, while demand for AI infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise AI solutions continues to surge.
