Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing has approved an investment of up to ₹450 crore, alongside its subsidiary Innomech Aerospace Toolings Private to acquire Hobel Bellows.
Unimech is a high-precision engineering player across aerospace, defence, energy, and semiconductors.
While Hobel Bellow is known for metallic bellows, flexible tubing, and exhaust systems used across industrial and automotive sectors.
The deal: Unimech will take a 24% stake, while its subsidiary picks up 76% in Hobel Bellows, which will then acquire 99.99% of Hobel Bellows Co.
With this, Unimech gains advanced tech and deeper capabilities to handle higher-value work.
The bigger picture: metallic bellows and tubing are mission-critical across aerospace, defence, and industrial systems.
This deal also enables Unimech to compete more directly with players like MTAR Technologies and Paras Defence and Space Technologies, especially in high-value assembly segments where they already lead.
