Bharat Forge Limited on Thursday announced it will acquire a 30% stake in Fortuna Engineering Private at an equity value of ₹129.6 crore.
What does it do: Fortuna Engineering makes precision engine components for automotive and industrial use, supplying major OEMs across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, tractors, and off-highway segments in India.
What will this change: the partnership gives Bharat Forge access to a specialised component maker with a strong domestic customer base.
For Fortuna, it brings a larger partner with global scale, engineering expertise, and export opportunities.
The company said the tie-up will also support its Make in India push by building world-class capabilities in India for global markets.
