Enviro Infra Engineers’ arm, EIE Renewables, is acquiring 100% of Suyog Urja for ₹311 crore.
Suyog Urja, founded in 2008, develops wind and solar projects across states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.
The deal structure: the company is buying Suyog Urja in a phased transaction.
- 51% stake for ₹111 crore upfront
- 24% in 2027 for ₹109 crore
- Final 25% in 2028 for ₹91 crore
Why this matters: for Enviro Infra, this marks a strategic entry into wind energy, diversifying its portfolio, expanding its geographic footprint, and strengthening its clean energy pipeline
Suyog Urja adds strong execution capability, with 500+ MW of projects delivered and an order book of around ₹645 crore.
The move mirrors a broader industry trend, with companies like Tata Power, Adani Green, and ReNew rapidly scaling up renewables through both organic expansion and acquisitions.
