Nestlè delivers in Q4, profit up 26% YoY

KitKat maker Nestlé delivered a blockbuster Q4FY26, beating expectations across key parameters.

By the numbers:

Net profit: up 26% YoY at ₹1,114 cr vs ₹885.4 cr

Revenue: up 22.6% YoY at ₹6,747.7 cr vs ₹5,504 cr

EBITDA: up 27.6% YoY at ₹1,771.5 cr vs ₹1,389 cr

Margin: at 26.3% vs 25.2% (YoY)

The how: this is Nestlé’s strongest quarterly growth in nearly a decade, powered by solid double-digit volume growth. The company significantly stepped up its advertising spends, which surged 50%.

Sales momentum was strong across the board.

Total sales grew 23.4%, with domestic sales close behind at 23.1%. This also marks the first full quarter after the 2025 GST reforms, adding another layer of growth.

Nestlé says its strategy is working and that is wider reach, more premium products, and disciplined execution are all paying off.

From chocolates and beverages to pet food, growth has been broad-based. Even traditionally steady categories like milk and nutrition products held their ground and continued to grow.

The commodity headwinds: coffee prices are easing, and cocoa remains soft. But edible oils are getting pricier, tracking global crude oil trends. Wheat has taken a hit due to unseasonal April rains, and milk prices are likely to stay elevated.

All in all, Nestlé seems to have the demand engine firing. The stock was at record high post the result announcement.
