Appliance maker Atomberg Technologies is getting ready for Dalal Street. The company has filed its DRHP with market regulator SEBI for an IPO.
For context, Atomberg is a deep-tech, R&D-led consumer appliance company best known for its fans. Over the years, it has expanded into products such as mixer grinders, smart locks, water purifiers and cold-pressed juicers.
The deets: the IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹450 crore and an offer for sale of up to 7.65 crore shares with a face value of ₹10 each.
Before filing its Red Herring Prospectus, Atomberg may also raise up to ₹90 crore through a pre-IPO placement. The company was last valued at around ₹4,500 crore in late 2025, and counts A91 Partners, Jungle Ventures and Temasek among its major investors.
Some numbers: Atomberg reported ₹1,294 crore in operating revenue in FY26. Its home appliances segment, which largely consists of fans along with smart locks, contributed ₹1,158 crore, or roughly 90% of total revenue.
Fans remain Atomberg’s stronghold. The company held a 46.08% share of India’s premium fan segment by cumulative sales value in FY26, according to a Redseer report cited in its DRHP.
Zoom out: Atomberg is going public at a time when India’s consumer appliances market is expanding. The market was estimated at $4.69 billion in FY26, according to the draft papers.
India is also among the leading markets for smart home appliance adoption. Penetration stands at 51%, behind China’s 63% but well ahead of the US at 36% and Germany at 34%.
