Suzlon posted a strong quarter as revenue surged and turbine deliveries hit record highs, showing demand is picking up fast.
By the numbers:
- Revenue jumped 45% to ₹5,468 crore.
- Operating profit rose 39% to ₹964 crore.
- Net profit came in at ₹1,114 crore.
The company also delivered a record 830 MW of wind turbines during the quarter, taking annual deliveries to an all-time high of 2,456 MW.
What’s working: Suzlon is seeing strong demand from both government-backed projects and large corporations shifting towards clean energy. Its order book now stands at nearly 5.9 GW, giving the company solid revenue visibility ahead.
Another big positive is the balance sheet turnaround. Suzlon, once heavily debt-laden, now has a net cash position of ₹2,384 crore, a massive shift from where the company stood a few years ago.
Zoom out: India’s renewable energy sector is entering a major growth cycle as the country pushes towards its 500 GW clean energy target by 2030. Alongside solar, wind energy is becoming a key piece of India’s long-term energy transition story.
The country added nearly 3.4 GW of wind energy capacity in FY26, the highest annual addition in several years. The country’s total installed renewable energy capacity has already crossed 220 GW, and with power demand expected to double by 2032.
